It involves ensuring adherence to Immigration Laws and Regulations while delivering outstanding client service. The caseworker plays a vital role, whether they are assigned to a global account or a specific geographic region. They engage in close collaboration with clients, individual employees, legal teams, government entities, and various stakeholders. This collaboration is essential for facilitating efficient and well-coordinated immigration processes, ensuring successful outcomes for all parties involved.Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:Maintaining regular and effective communication with clients, addressing queries and providing legal guidance to support their immigration needs.Analyzing complex ideas or proposals and building a range of meaningful recommendations.Using multiple sources of information, including broader stakeholder views, to develop solutions and recommendations.Using data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.Developing a point of view on key global trends and how they impact clients.Managing a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.Managing and resolving issues and/or escalations due to complex case matters.Simplifying complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points.Managing multiple and challenging country business immigration engagements to deliver to clients.Managing caseworkers and junior attorneys in case management and immigration law application.Managing client relationships by ensuring accurate and appropriate legal options are provided and discussed.Reviewing applications and work from junior team members and signing off on applications before submission.Upholding the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct.QualificationsInterest in Global Immigration LawEager to learn about global immigration practices, laws, and regulations.Strong Analytical SkillsAbility to analyze complex ideas and develop meaningful recommendations.Attention to DetailCapable of simplifying complex messages and summarizing key points.Client Relationship ManagementStrong skills in managing client relationships and providing legal guidance.Leadership and Team CollaborationExperience in managing junior team members and fostering effective team collaboration.Educational Background in Law or a Related FieldA degree or coursework in law, immigration, or a related discipline.Additional InformationLocation: Rio de JaneiroFull-time availability.We are an equal opportunity employer that does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected status.Please note, AI is used as part of the application process.
